The Wildlife Society Annual Conference
At Snowbird you will have the opportunity to meet with colleagues and access a variety of symposia, workshops, and events where wildlife professionals will share their expertise and discuss the conservation challenges we all face in this new decade. In addition to the formal program of events, the Snowbird conference will offer ample opportunity to experience the natural beauty and history of the area. You may choose to visit Park City or the region’s other historic mining towns, ride the tram from Snowbird to the heights of Hidden Peak, or venture into Salt Lake Valley.
In the valley you can experience the sights and shops of Salt Lake City, the expansive solitude of the Bear River National Wildlife Refuge, or Antelope Island State Park, home to one of the few unfenced bison herds in the United States. Keep an eye on the TWS website for additional opportunities.
Of course the side trips are a perk, but the real value of the conference comes from meeting and talking with colleagues who share the same goal: To manage and protect wildlife and habitats now and into the future.
On behalf of the Arrangements Committee, please plan on joining us in Utah. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a meaningful, informative, and enjoyable Annual Conference.
