Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center Auxiliary (AMWCA) would like to invite you to the 2010 Southwestern Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Symposium being held September 25-26th in Phoenix, Arizona. This symposium offers something for everyone involved in wildlife education/rehabilitation: continuing education credits for currently licensed rehabilitators; informative classes conducted in small groups; plenty of opportunities to network with other people interested in wildlife; and insiders info for those who might be interested in exploring this rewarding field.

The symposium will be held at the Arizona Game and Fish Department's beautiful facility at 5000 W Carefree Highway in north Phoenix. A Friday night no host mixer at Bill Johnson’s Big Apple Restaurant located on the west side of 19th Avenue just south of Bell Road, will give everyone a chance to meet new and old friends in a relaxed setting. As an added bonus, rehabilitators can earn one continuing education credit if they stay for the Condor presentation given by Kathy Sullivan, Arizona Game and Fish Condor Program Coordinator.

We encourage you to join us for this educational weekend, and ask that you pass along the information to your co-workers, volunteers or anyone you think might be interested. An information/registration packet is attached. The information can also be accessed through our website beginning August 27th at: under “events“, or you can always call us at 623-587-0139 or e-mail at
