Portal Information

Description

Club that organises teams in the Brisbane-wide Ultimate Mixed League (BUML), as well as teams in tournaments throughout the year.
Ultimate Disc is a team-based sport, 7-a-side, with similarities to American football, Netball and various other sports, played with a Flying Disc (we are not allowed to call it a Frisbee as that is a trademark of wham-o)
Ultimate is one of the only sports that are self-refereed (even at worlds level), and this brings with it a unique sense of sportsmanship and comradery.
Players cannot move while they have the disc, thus the game involves passing the disc between players to catch the disc in an endzone for a point.
