Jake Torres Named NLC Student of the Month

NLC Student of the Month By: NLC PR Jake Torres, Northeast Lakeview College student, was recognized at the August 16 Board meeting for his selection as the district-wide Alamo Colleges Student of the Month for August 2016. He is studying Business Administration and has a 3.91 GPA. He is paying his own way through college by working full-time at HEB. NLC Transfer Fair – Hawaiian Luau

The Transfer Fair- Hawaiian Luau at Northeast Lakeview College, scheduled for February 24th, trafficked approximately 485 students who were able to speak with local & state university and college representatives about transfer options and requirements. NLC Mardi Gras

On Tuesday, February 09th Northeast Lakeview College celebrated Mardi Gras in the Student Commons Opportunity Mall  from 11am-1pm. The Office of Student Development, Leadership & Activities serviced approximately 250 students handing out free King's Cake, refreshments and activities at the event. Students, faculty, staff and administartion also took part in the Mardi Gras mask photo opt.
