Delta Lambda Phi Presents: Hallows Eve Ball

Description: Ball culture is an underground LGBT subculture in the U.S. in which people "walk" (i.e., compete) for trophies and prizes. Participants "walk" (compete) against one another in "balls" judged on dancing skills (voguing), costumes, appearance, and attitude. Participants dress according to the category in which they are competing and are expected to display appropriate "realness."

Queer Politicking

Description: "Queer Politicking" is a short play about a group of queer high school students addressing social issues that plague their community. When Erin More, a student who is never seen in the play, is brutally beaten due a rumor that he is transitioning. The students debate the politics of the incident during a Queer History club meeting.
