Welcome to the UAF Cyber Security Club. We are a campus club focused on information and computer security. We aim to improve computer security knowledge in our community by helping train the future work force. We are open to members all skill levels:The most important requirement is an interest to learn.

Members of our club form the UAF team for the National Collegiate Cyber Defense competition. Our 2014 team earned 3rd place out of 180 schools nationwide.

The UAF Cyber Security Club aims to increase computer security awareness within the Fairbanks community. We are open to everyone who is interested in learning about computer security. No previous knowledge is required. Our regularly scheduled weekly meetings aim to teach members the theoretical concepts of computer security and their practical applications.

We participate in the National Collegiate Cyber Defense competition each year and have been winning the At-Large regional for the last 4 years. In 2014, UAF's team ( formed from club members ) came 3rd out of 180 schools nationwide.
