Campus Activities Board is Accepting Officer Applications for the 2016-2017 Year!

Oct 22, 2015 by Candace O Luebbehusen

The CAB Officer Application will open TOMORROW at 8am and will close Saturday, November 7th at midnight.

Marian University needs YOU to run for a CAB officer position!

What does CAB do?

CAB is in charge of campus activity programming through coffee house performances, movie nights, homecoming week, knight daze, formals, and fun sporting events. We always welcome new ideas!

"I'm a (insert any major here) major, how will CAB help me get a job?"

CAB is a wonderful boost to any resume because of the skills you learn. You learn to how to effectively work as a team, time management, marketing skills, problem-solving, budgeting, public speaking, and you get the opportunity to meet and speak with employers through the events you plan.  Most importantly it shows you can balance multiple commitments at once. These are all skills that will translate well to any job post-graduation.

How much time will I need to commit to CAB?

In CAB you are a student first. However, in order to be a successful student organization, all officers need to be committed to CAB. There are weekly meetings and usually at least one event per week (sometimes more, sometimes less).
