Come out and join the Emory Scholars Program and the Office of LGBT Life for a film screening of T Cooper's acclaimed documentary Man Made (2018), recipient of a Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program grant. T Cooper joined the Emory Creative Writing Program last fall as an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing; T Cooper is also a novelist, filmmaker, journalist, and television writer. T Cooper directed, produced, filmed, and co-wrote Man Made.

Man Made follows the lives of four transgender bodybuilders as they compete in Atlanta's Trans FitCon competition, the only bodybuilding competition exclusively for transgender individuals. Man Made won the Best Documentary Jury Prize at the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival and the Audience Award for Best Documentary and Fox Inclusion Award at Outfest LA 2018.
