Alpha Kappa Psi is America's oldest and largest professional business fraternity. Ohio University's co-ed chapter has 108 members and is always looking to welcome new brothers to the family! Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. This business fraternity is the oldest in the nation and has a network of brothers that spans across the globe. The Xi Rho chapter offers the opportunity to foster brotherhood, leadership, unity, and education through various channels such as workshops, professional speakers, and visits with corporate sponsors. Alpha Kappa Psi is open to all business majors and minors interested in professional development as well as the social aspects of a fraternity. There is a eight-week pledge program required before full membership can be obtained. Dues are $140 each spring and fall semester. Attendance is required for weekly chapter meetings, professional development events, fundraising, and philanthropy events. Come out and be a part of our family!
Please outline the process for becoming a member of this student organization.
Our recruitment takes place at the beginning of both the Fall and Spring semester. The three business fraternities join together to host the Tri-Rush Kickoff, Tri-Rush Info Sessions, and then each business fraternity hosts three of their own events. Following recruitment, if selected, you will complete a 8 week pledge process prior to initiation as a brother.
