The East Side Community Garden is one of many gardens in Athens that grows fresh produce for the local food banks, helping those in need of a healthy, nutritional meal. Donations for Survivors of Hurricane Harvey

River Sweep is part of a larger effort all along the Ohio River from Pittsburgh,PA  to Cairo, IL to clean up litter along the Ohio river and it's tributaries.

Please volunteer to assist the Athens Area Mediation Services with their workday to prepare the mini-golf course at the Ridges here in Athens.  Volunteers will be needed to help with weeding, painting, staining, minor repairs, and getting things ready to open the season!

Volunteers needed from 10am - 7pm  - 3 hour shifts are appreciated but anytime you are available to assist is welcome.

Volunteers needed for face painting booth at the 2017 Coolville, Ohio Founders Day celebration. The event will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9am - 9pm. Volunteers needed to arrive at 8:15 am and report to the "Torch Can Do" booth set up near the Coolville Elementary School (see address below).  Volunteers are needed to paint children's faces until 1pm  ans to assist with clean up afterwards.
