The ongoing US-China trade dispute has splintered into a larger economic war on multiple fronts, leading to an even deeper level of mutual mistrust and scrutiny. Washington has openly identified Beijing’s technology ambitions as a national security threat; but there is much confusion and disagreement about the right response. Plans to restrict the export of American technologies can potentially undermine the competitiveness of America’s homegrown, innovative industry. Concurrently, China’s advances in hardware, mobility, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, etc, have become an undeniable, rapidly expanding force. This panel will explore – amidst today’s climate of friction - the business partnership between the two largest economies in the world, and the implications of such technological developments for global corporations.

  • Hear from experts who have a diverse experience with China, technology, and business
  • Explore key factors and motivations that guide successful business strategies
  • Learn technological development trends in both China and the U.S.
  • Get your questions answered during Q&A
  • Build your network - enjoy casual networking after the panel
