SSE Eventbrite - Departmental Access

Stanford Student Enterprises (SSE) has partnered with Eventbrite to allow Stanford Departments to sell tickets online. Currently, we are the only way Stanford can use Eventbrite for paid tickets.  If you do not plan to sell tickets, you are allowed to use Eventbrite on your own!

Stanford Faculty/Staff: Use this form to request each event for which your group would like to sell tickets online. Expect the setup and approval process to take 7 days after submission (although we may be able to do it in as little as 24 hours).

Please note that selling tickets on Eventbrite incurs Eventbrite service fees.

We receive special pricing: You will be charged 3.5% of the ticket price + $0.99 per ticket sold.  This is a rate savings of 2% compared to normal Eventbrite rates. You can either pass this fee on to your customers, or take that fee out of your ticket revenue.  In addition, SSE will take 2.0% out of the Eventbrite payout for your event.  This is to cover the administrative costs we incur as we set-up Stanford access as well as coordinate with various departments.  The breakdown is as follows:

Eventbrite Service Fee 0.5% of Face Value (1.5% charged to customer and 1.0% given back to you!)
Eventbrite Ticket Fee $0.99 per ticket sold
Credit Card Processing Fee 3.0% in the United States, 3.5% outside the United States
SSE Service Fee 2.0% charged on Total Eventbrite Net Payout (The amount you see after other fees have been deducted)

3.5% + $0.99 - Eventbrite

2.0% - SSE
