Wright Vote Advocates Application
The Wright Vote Project is a nonpartisan voter education and registration program designed to increase voter participation and civic engagement by harnessing the excitement of hosting the first 2016 Presidential Debate.
Wright Vote Advocates are responsible for:
- Registering Wright State University students to vote at tabling and other campus events
- Co-facilitating workshops about civic engagement, voter registration, and election information for student organizations and groups on campus
- Volunteering at Wright Vote sponsored National Voter Registration Day, Make a Difference Day, and Election Day outreach events
The time commitment for Wright Vote Advocates will be 2 - 4 hours per week during the Fall 2016 semester. Required trainings, meetings, and events are listed below:

Sunday, August 28, 2016, 1:00am – 3:30pm, Student Union Rathskeller Room 008
Wright Vote Advocates Team Meetings
Team meetings will be weekly starting Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm (location TBA) through October 5, 2016. After that, meetings will be once a month for the duration of the Academic Year.
