Hello and welcome to Chi Omega's Phi Alpha Chapter!
My name is Alina Brenninkmeijer and I am so honored and lucky to be the President of the Phi Alpha Chapter.
Our chapter is made up of inspiring, dynamic, and driven women who I am so grateful to be around every single day. Although there is diversity in our chapter, we are all united through Chi Omega’s six purposes: friendship, high standards of personnel, sincere learning and creditable scholarship, participation in campus activities, career development, and community service. This is the third year in a row that we have had the highest GPA amongst all Panhellenic sororities on campus. We also won Greek chapter of the year for 2016. All sisters are involved in at least one other campus organization in which many are leaders. However, our interests do not stop there, with many sisters holding internships and jobs around the city. Annually, we fundraise and volunteer for The Make-A-Wish Foundation through our campus-wide fundraising events and Walk for Wishes. Just this past year we raised nearly $12,000! We are D-1 athletes, world travelers, animal lovers, coffee addicts, and more, but together, Chi Omegas. Our sisterhood is truly like none other.
Since I joined Chi Omega my freshman year, I have never felt such a sense of community. These women have helped to create my home away from home. My sisters have helped me become the best version of myself as a friend, leader, and student. We are womanly always and discouraged never and place scholarship before social obligations. At the end of the day, we are sisters on purpose.
To everyone interested in recruitment, I invite you to reach out if you have any questions and please have a look around our website to learn a bit more about us! For active members and alumnae of Chi Omega, welcome home.

THE CHI OMEGA SYMPHONY
"To live constantly above snobbery of word or deed; to place scholarship before social obligations and character before appearances; to be in the best sense, democratic rather than “exclusive”, and lovable rather than “popular”; to work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand; to be womanly always; to be discouraged never; in a word, to be loyal under any and all circumstances to my Fraternity and her highest teachings and to have her welfare ever at heart that she may be a symphony of high purpose and helpfulness in which there is no discordant note."
