Welcome to SASSE! SASSE stands for Students Advocating Sexual Safety and Empowerment!

SASSE strives to create a safer space for the SU community while also empowering students through the use of creative demonstrations and discussions. We advocate for sexual safety through activist efforts, education, and other events so that students can express themselves, meet people, and feel comfortable in a supportive environment.

And also, intersectional feminism *drops mic.*

Portal Information

Description

Students Advocating Sexual Safety and Empowerment is a student organization committed to ending violence against women, educating folks about sexual health, and providing a safer space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and all underrepresented populations. Our most significant project every year is producing the Vagina Monologues, which is a play that combines a variety of women's stories that range from gendered violence to positive sexual experiences. Its purpose is to promote self-love and raise awareness about misogyny and assault.
