Hi Everyone, Welcome to SASSE! SASSE stands for Students Advocating Sexual Safety and Empowerment!

SASSE strives to create a community and safe space for students while also empowering one another through the use of creative expression and discussion. We advocate for sexual safety through activist efforts, education, and other events so that they can express themselves, meet other people, and feel comfortable in a supportive community.

And also, feminism *drops mic.*

Portal Information

Description

Students Advocating Sexual Safety and Empowerment is an organization committed to ending violence against women, educate folks about sexual health, and provide safer space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and all marginalized communities. Our biggest project every year is producing the Vagina Monologues, which is a play that combines a variety of women's stories that range from gendered violence to positive sexual experiences. Its purpose is to promote self-love and raise awareness about misogyny and assault.
