Junior Faculty Conversations on Teaching: Teaching Intentionally with Technology

Monday, Mar 23, 2020
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EDT
Remotely via ZoomMap Location

In light of the fact that BC will be completing spring 2020 classes remotely due to COVID-19, this conversation will be held via Zoom and redirected toward a discussion about teaching remotely.  Please see the below letter from Stacy Grooters, Interim Director of the CTE:

Dear colleagues,
I’m writing because you had registered for our next Junior Faculty Conversation on Teaching, originally scheduled for this Monday at noon. Although the topic of this month's JFCT (Teaching Intentionally with Technology) is strangely appropriate, we thought this Monday might not be the best moment to claim an hour away from other matters that are more pressing.
That said, if there are questions you're still thinking through about Remote Teaching, we're happy to use the time to offer any help we can.  So our plan is to table the planned conversation for Monday and instead hold a conversation over Zoom about how things are going with your shift to remote instruction. Sarah Castricum from the CTE will be hosting the discussion from 12:00 - 1:00 in a Zoom session open to any of you who would like to drop in. You can log in here:
We hope the move into teaching remotely is going as smoothly as possible, appreciating it's a monumental shift!
With best wishes as classes resume,
