Building Classroom Community
Research shows that a strong sense of classroom community increases student engagement and learning. This interactive session will focus on fostering community at the beginning of the semester through syllabus design and evidence-based, low-stakes pedagogical practices. Participants will leave the session with a clear vision of their ideal classroom community and strategies that will help them navigate possible challenges.
