O'Neill 250 - Innovation LabMap Location

Instructors are using online lectures for a variety of purposes, from “flipping” the classroom to supplementing traditional approaches to teaching.  This workshop will demonstrate how to record a lecture and upload it to your Canvas course using Panopto, the personal capture system supported for courses at BC.  If you would like to practice making and uploading a recording, please bring a laptop; a Canvas practice site will be provided for you. Participants will also have the option to tour the CTE's new recording studio, which is an interruption-free, acoustically-enhanced space designed for instructors interested in designing online lectures.

Facilitated by Scott Kinder, Megan Crotty, and Sara Suzuki. You are also invited to join us for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00.

The Center for Teaching Excellence is committed to providing equal access to its events and programs. Individuals with disabilities who anticipate needing accommodations or who have questions about physical access may contact centerforteaching@bc.edu.
