Cancelled: Teaching with Special Collections
Incorporating special collections and archives into research projects can create rich learning experiences for student as they engage with primary sources and develop authentic research questions. In this session, library staff from the Boston College Burns Library and the Digital Scholarship Group will introduce you to the many resources available at the university for teaching with scholarly collections and digital tools. We will also discuss some general principles for designing projects so they fit within time you have, align with the abilities of your students, and meet your course goals.
