LPP pairs one native English speaker with one non-native English speaker.  The pairs get together once a week for a minimum of one hour and practice conversational English.  The program is a great opportunity to learn about another culture and make a new friend.  The focus of the program is to assist the non-native English speaker with their conversational English, awareness of US culture and knowledge of living in Columbia, MO.

Mend the Gap

Mend the Gap is a program meant to eradicate stigmas surrounding topics of mental health through discussions meant to normalize, talking openly, and self-advocacy. Topics are pre-determined but participants are encouraged to share their own experiences.

WC Lounge Reservation

Our space is open to everyone: students, staff, faculty and community; women, transgender and gender non-conforming folks and men.  It's a great place for group meetings, study groups, programs and social events.

Our Lounge has seating up to 40, but can fit up to 70 folks.   Please put the seating back the way it was.  There is a seating chart available in a picture frame below the TV.   The TV is ready to watch DVDs or cable or connect to the Internet....
