Welcome to the Fashion's Conscience Page!
Check out our org website, fashionsconscience.com for more information.
We strive to blend all avenues of fashion, technology and culture while creating a creative space for all students. We host a fashion show in the Spring every year.
Fashion's Conscience is Syracuse University's first, and only minority-based fashion organization on campus. It was founded on September 15, 2000 by Syracuse Alumnae Thea Montanez. Fashion's Conscience aims to combat the lack of diversity in the fashion industry. Although originally for Fashion Design majors, FC now includes members in all colleges and majors. All students that are interested in fashion and want to make a career in any aspect of fashion are encouraged to join, and attend FC events. Fashion's Conscience also helps its members to obtain scholarships and internships in the fashion industry. Fashion's Conscience is dedicated to advocating the empowerment of minorities in the Fashion/Retail industry.
