We, the transfer students of Mississippi State University, in order to promote student welfare and an academic atmosphere; to further the activities of student life involving transfer students; to encourage a clear and continuous exchange of ideas between the students, faculty, and the university administration; and to instill and promote a greater spirit of progress and loyalty for our alma mater. To centralize a focus on the leadership and development of transfer students; to provide leadership skills through various activities and to build social connectedness, academic growth , and involvement. We strive to promote a continuous exchange of ideas and opinions between the students, the faculty, and the administration. We coordinate and regulate the activities of the Transfer Student Association for the benefit of the entire educational community and of the students in later life.



Selection Process/Membership Requirements

As a transfer student at Mississippi State University, you are automatically designated as a member of the Transfer Student Association.

All transfer students who are registered for at least one (1) hour at Mississippi State University shall be a member of the Transfer Student Association.

The Transfer Student Association does not discriminate on the basis of color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or veteran status. Furthermore, discrimination based upon sexual orientation or group affiliation is a violation of the Mississippi State University police and will NOT be tolerated by the TSA.

What types of events do you hold?

The TSA hosts various events throughout the fall and spring semesters on campus such as the Ice Cream Social, New Maroon Transfer Student Camp, Involvement Organization Fair, and many more. This previous events have been so successful that the future versions have been planned for the next year. In the future, TSA plans to host organization events with Orientation Leaders, Future Educators of America, Music Makers, Greek Life, Roadrunners, Student Association, and many more.
