WELCOME: The NUSCC is up and running and is gearing up for Fall 2016.

The NUSCC (Northeastern University Student Composers Club) allows Northeastern University students to engage in an active community of music composition, performance, and concert production. Members have the opportunity to take leadership roles in contemporary music productions, and will coordinate with local industry professionals to make this possible.

The NUSCC is intended to educate and support Northeastern student composers, performers, and music industry professionals. The NUSCC will meet regularly and host multiple public events each semester. The NUSCC regularly provides a creative outlet for any and all compositional material, encouraging public feedback, inspiring compositional revision, and promoting artistic independence via practical knowledge.

The NUSCC will organize and present a full contemporary music concert production each semester, and club members will have the opportunity to have their compositional works performed and recorded at these productions. In coordination with the club advisors, Dr. Ho and Dr. Durant, club members will organize all aspects of production, including but not limited to performer booking, concert programming, score revision, marketing and promotion, technical production, recording, and event assistance.

The officers of the NUSCC shall be President, Concert Coordinator, Artistic Coordinator, Director of Publicity, Outreach, & Weekly Events, Treasurer, Technical Coordinator, and Lead Recording Engineer. President: Connor Eichinger, eichinger.co@husky.neu.edu. Treasurer: Kyle McCrosson, mccrosson.k@husky.neu.edu
