Founded on November 13, 1983, the sorority promotes ideals and objectives that further the advancement of female engineers and technical scientists and build a foundation for lifelong bonds of sisterhood.
Alpha Omega Epsilon is a professional and social Sorority founded in 1983 that promotes friendship, leadership, and professionalism to all members of the organization, community, and our professions. The Beta Sigma Chapter here at NYU was founded on February 23rd, 2016 with a total of 23 founding members.

Alpha Omega Epsilon is an international social and professional sorority for women in engineering and technical science fields. To be eligible to join, you must be an undergraduate student studying an engineering or technical science field at the Tandon School of Engineering with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
