Welcome to Penn State Harrisburg's Black Student Union!

We are an organization that is committed to bridge the old with the new by incorporating community outreach, international government and political awareness, self-enhancement, cultural appreciation, and academic responsibility by exploring modern avenues such as but not limited to technical global systems, media outlets and personal networking. BSU aims to ensure a sense of belonging by helping to develop a well-rounded individual via exposure to campus and community resources as well as an introduction to the contemporary world.

The Black Student Union is an organization to bring a better understanding among students at Penn State Harrisburg, and to create and develop an organized social and educational activities within the school and community.



Selection Process/Membership Requirements

Please list information about the organizations selection process and include membership requirements if applicable.

An active member shall be any student at Capitol Campus, as well as, be in good standing academics. He/She are considered to be in good standing with the organization when the following general conditions are met:
1. Attends organizational meetings while enrolled at Capitol Campus
2. Shows an interest in, and takes part in the affairs of the organization
