We are the lovely sophisticated ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho Soroity Inc.
We were founded on November 12, 1922 at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana by 7 extremely well educators: Mary Lou Allison Gardner Little, Dorothy Hanley Whiteside, Cubena McClure, Vivian Irene White Maurbury, Nannie Mae Gahn Johnson, Hattie Mae Dulin Redford, and Bessie Mae Downey Rhoades Martin.

Sigma Gamma Rho's aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community.
We focus and stand by public service, leadership development and education of youth.
On the PSU Harrisburg four women: Sherneice Idris, Jacquelyn Furch, Amanda Jones, and Keeana Seabrookes chartered Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. on May 3, 2014. Although new to this campus, we are doing big things within the community and on campus. We believe in quality over quantity and want to expand and finally receive a chapter name.
