The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is an honors organization that recognizes and elevates high achievers. NSCS provides career and graduate school connections, leadership and service opportunities and gives out a million dollars in scholarships annually. NSCS members are deeply committed to scholarship, leadership and service and as a result, are impacting their campus and local communities every day.
NSCS at The University of Toledo seeks to develop well-rounded scholars and leaders who value integrity and benefit society through community service. To promote the interaction of those with high scholastic achievement in community service and philanthropic efforts.

Please describe (based on your constitution) the organization's selection process and include membership requirements if applicable. You must have a method of differentiating voting members from non-voting members in order to be able define quorum as required to conduct business and amend the constitution.
We invite first-and second-year college students who have a GPA of 3.4 or higher. This puts them in the top 20% of students nationally. To receive an invitation to join NSCS, students must attend a college or university where there is an active chapter of NSCS.
