Koru Mindfulness Retreat

Experience a 1/2 day mindfulness retreat. Learn skills that can help relieve stress, get better sleep and help experience less self-judgment. This will be a silent retreat where you will learn various forms of meditation, eat mindfully and participate in basic yoga. Please bring a yoga mat or towel with you for yoga. All levels are welcome. No prior experience in meditation is needed. Extra credit slips will be provided.

28th Annual Walk for Awareness

We walk to commemorate lives lost to violence in our community, to support victims and survivors of violence and to affirm our commitment and responsibility to speak out against violence in all its forms. The event begins on Sanford Mall with music and a brief reflection followed by a silent walk to the Schaefer Center for final comments.
