Melbourne HSW staff had the opportunity to chat with Melissa 'Milly' Tapper for International Women's Day. On March 8th, Milly joined two other panelists to discuss the theme 'Be Bold For Change'.
Milly was the first Australian to qualify for both the Olympics and Paralympics in Rio last year. She graduated from ACU with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2011.
International Women's Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women.
Yet progress has slowed in many places across the world, so global action is needed to accelerate gender parity.
