This award is given to an OMSA organization in which exemplifies a commitment to the betterment, strengthening, and mission of the organization’s chosen community/audience. The winning organization should have strong leadership that consistently work together toward the group’s common goals. In addition, this organization should serve as role models for the other USA student organizations.

OMSA Awards 2018: Outstanding Program of the Year

This award recognizes a student organization program that enhanced the University community and explored and fostered innovative and efficient ways to reach and involve diverse student audiences. The program was coordinated and managed in a fiscally sound manner and was open to all USA students. Events that took place from April 4, 2017, to April 5, 2018, are eligible to be nominated. We will only accept one nomination per registered student organization for this award.

Service is written into the mission of the College. The organization who receives the Outstanding Service Award has gone above and beyond in living this aspect of the OMSA mission. The recipient has volunteered on campus and/or in the community. Their collective commitment to service is clearly demonstrated by their actions.
